accountability for propaganda?

(P) Remember Armstrong Williams and using PR firms paid for with taxpayer dollars? It's pretty hard to argue with the GAO's straightforward report. Well, apparently the President hasn't been able to classify everything damaging to the Administration. I guess they'll have to retract that whole "legitimate dissemination of information" crap.

Actually, what am I saying? They'll just ignore this like everything else.

Nate--Bad Armstrong. If I remember, he took a fairly sufficient beating for his hypocrisy and made numerous mea culpas.

It's only propaganda if your lazy.

There is no amount of public spin and whitewashing from GWB that will ever convince me that NCLB hasn't sucked the life out of public schools.

The point is that the Administration is directly responsible for the gross misuse of taxpayer dollars!

That used to be a bad thing in conservative circles. (Of course, I would argue they only get whiny when it isn't their guy doing the wasting, but that's a separate debate). If President Clinton used taxpayer money to fund covert propaganda for abortion rights or gay rights or something, the media would never have let anyone forget about it.
