good party jodi

Not remembering how on Earth you managed to turn the alarm off on your phone and fall back asleep. When you stumble into the living room and see a rather unkempt man just sitting there on your futon staring at you. When you then look around and realize that despite your having spent the day before cleaning, you will be spending this afternoon cleaning, as well.

Falling asleep sitting there at breakfast while stuffing yourself with food, not always remembering to keep your mouth closed between bites of french toast and scrambled eggs. Then shaking through church from all the sugar you stuffed yourself with so you would stay awake.

Eyes wincing in pain when you walk out of church into a beautiful, albeit way too bright, day.

And then Chiefs football. Come on Detroit!

Nate--Good party! Ours was low-key, with kids and their friends, but we did blow an enormous amount of fireworks up.

Suffering right now through the Redskins game, they are my only hope, since the Falcons went belly-up last week and were corpses this week.

Have a good 2006! Maybe your New Year's resolutions should include continued movement toward the CENTER?

Heh, heh.

Oh, I miss fireworks. We would do that every New Year's and every Fourth of July for many years at a location that will remain undisclosed for now. It's a little harder to pull off in the city and with friends who don't seem to come from backgrounds quite as friendly to being in close proximity to explosives as a means of endless entertainment. We could see fireworks from Forest Park from our living room, though, so that was nice.

Did you also suffer through the South Carolina game...that was quite a comeback from the Tigers.

I actually might do a separate post on my 2006 New Year's Resolution. In the meantime, you'll just have to accept my au contraire, I am quite in the center, and I don't mean geographically :)

Nate--As a Dawg fan, Carolina's fate moves me not.

If you are in the center, then the term liberal has to be synonymous with communist.

'Skins in! Cowboys out!
